Pastor Mike continues to talk about Ephesians on today's show. Are you familiar with the game Monkey See, Monkey Do? As Christians, we ought to be imitators of God. Not to be made right with God, but to live out who we are in Christ. Jesus sacrificed Himself, we should be self-sacrificial as well and we should watch our tongues when it comes to speaking in an inappropriate fashion. Walking in self-sacrificial love includes watching what we say, and the way you get rid of all the bad stuff is to be a thankful person. How are you doing in watching what you say? Thanksgiving shows that you are thankful.
Ephesians 5:1-4Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3 But sexual immorality and all impurity or covetousness must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints. 4 Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
